7 Reasons Why the Strip Club Didn't Hire You (Honest Truths 😬)

Okay, so in this blog I will be talking to my stripper babes or wannabe stripper babes that were NOT HIRED or GOT REJECTED at a strip club/night club. Seriously, I LOVE Y’ALL, YOU’RE HOT SHIT, and don’t let these stupid men or managers allow you to think anything else about YOURSELF BADDIE. 😜🌶️

Here, I will share the possible reasons why you were rejected and didn’t get hired at a strip club. And girl I know it’s hard! One time I was rejected by TWO clubs in the SAME FUCKING NIGHT!! I cried in my car…😭 But no worries! I learned some lessons that I will share with you amazing baddies!

They Don’t Always Tell You Why They Didn’t Hire You

This sucks, but it’s the cold truth. I know from Las Vegas that it’s such a cold process!

They had us all stand in a line, and we each had a piece of paper, the manager came in and commanded us to go onstage, and one by one the girls were on stage! The manager will either write a “yes” or a “no” on the paper and the house mom tells us who made the cut or not. 👎

She doesn’t know why we didn’t get hired, we didn’t know why we didn’t get hired. So you’re kind of just there wondering to yourself, “Why? Did I do something? Did I not look okay? I wish you could give me some critique or feedback.” But no worries babe, that's why I’m here! To help you understand why you didn’t get hired!

Possible Reason Number 1: You Did Not Dress to Impress 

Always remember that first impressions are so fucking important. Even if you show up in some street clothes they are ALWAYS paying attention. 🧐 They look at you and try to see, “Is she a bad bitch?” Is her hair put together, make-up banging, nails are done, outfit on point?” 🎯 Or did you show up in some jeans and a sweatshirt, hair in a bun, little to no makeup? You have to come to the club and Always Look Your Best! ESPECIALLY ON YOUR AUDITION! 

I’ve seen girls come in and audition in sweats, pajamas, and yoga pants. And let me tell you, it does not give that, “Oh My God, I Am a SEXY MOTHERFUCKER VIBE!” This is the vibe you need to have because they are paying attention. So please for your next audition, come Dressed to Impress. And that means All of the Details. I’m talking about your bag, your outfit, your jacket. Go in with your best clothing because those will boost your chances of getting hired! 

Possible Reason Number 2: Your Auditioning Outfit

What was your auditioning outfit? What was it you were wearing as far as stripper clothes? Sometimes the club has you change into a new outfit and dance. But what did you come into that club with? Was it trashy, was it dirty, did that thing have holes in it? Was it old, the colors faded? Did you look like an Expensive Hot Piece of Ass?  😜🥵

Once again, different outfits will give you a different type of energy. Your outfit may be fine, but I want you to put on that smokin’ outfit that compliments your body, and makes you look super professional and classy!

So one thing about me, I LOVE dressing up like a schoolgirl. But I wouldn’t dress up as a schoolgirl for an audition. Because I want to have a more classy and put-together look, even though I think the schoolgirl look is super cute! But as a rule of thumb, I’d say go for an elegant look in your auditions. 

And for jewelry! Are you wearing a cheap $3 choker? Are your earrings missing any rhinestones? Girl you need to upgrade because your jewelry also has to be on point along with your nails and outfit! 👗

Possible Reason Number 3: Maybe You're Not in the Best Shape

Some places are lenient on having a preferred body type, and others are keen on that skinny, athletic body type. Some clubs are also cool with thicker and curvier. Depending on some places you might not get hired because of your body type. 

NOW I’M NOT SAYING GET A BBL OR FAKE TITS. 🙅‍♀️All I’m saying is make sure you stay healthy and manage your weight if you need to lose the extra weight. Stay in shape and take care of yourself. Maybe you need to get on a workout regime or hire a trainer. Be motivated to look your best. Because after the audition, you still want to LOOK AND FEEL AMAZING. If you don’t that will fuck up your money and we DON’T NEED THAT. 

Also, make sure you're wearing the right clothes. Wear pieces that accentuate your body type. Check out my video on what to wear that fits your body type as far as stripper outfits go and how to get audition-ready! This will definitely make life easier! 

Possible Reason Number 4: The Club Might Not Need Your Style

This definitely can happen. We got clubs that are more classy, clubs that are like drive bars, or ghetto clubs. Different clubs with different audiences. And this is where doing your own research, or going to the club and observing as a customer can pay off! For example: if you’re auditioning at a place that is very classy, but you show up to your audition dressed up in an outfit that can be seen as ghetto or not up to par with that club’s classy, luxurious vibe, then it might not work out. Even if you look smokin' hot, that kind of club might not hire you on the spot. Other examples are having blue hair, tattoos, and piercings everywhere. For a classy club that won’t work out!

Possible Reason Number 5: Maybe You Didn’t Have Confidence

I see this a lot with new dancers! You feel shy and it’s your first time. Trust me, I was there! 🥲That’s why I always say, “Fake it until you make it!” Because from the club’s perspective, they want to hire girls who are hot, confident, and whoever is going to make money. Because, at the end of the day, we dancers are the ones that make the clubs money. 💸

When you get to that club, you want to fake that fucking confidence. When you’re walking, walk with your head held high, and shoulders back, smile, and look the manager in the eye. Be open, bubbly, and happy. Give off that good energy! Because that is what they want to see! It’s not about being hot, but having that confidence and sex appeal, 💁‍♀️ because that is what they are looking for! You especially want to practice this if you’re new. Practice walking around at home in your stripper heels with confidence, get into that sexy energy. 👠It would probably help if you did this before an addition so that you are already in that energy. Or the right flow to absolutely kill it in your next audition. 

Possible Reason Number 6: You Didn’t Win Over the Manager

So for whoever is holding the audition, you will make it SO FAR if you can make them FUCK WITH YOU HEAVY!  You want them to say, “This girl is a DOPE ASS PERSON! She’s hot, has a banging body, and a fire-ass personality! She stands out, she’s unique, and a good-hearted person!” Make them say this, and they will fucking hire you! 💃🏽🌶️🤑

As you’re doing your audition make sure you’re making jokes, ask the manager about himself, and have you’re most fun, extroverted, happy energy out there! You will have the best chance of getting hired! 😎

I’ve seen girls that didn’t get hired. The reasons are because they come in and look bored, straight-faced, and have attitude!! 😑🫠Once, they asked a girl for her ID, and she sucked her teeth, “Yeah I guess I can give you my ID.” Like come on, you want to be sure that the manager enjoys your company if you're working there and he hires you! So, if you didn’t get hired the last time spend a little extra effort in getting to know the managers and whoever you're talking to. Try to make that bond and connection. 

Possible Reason Number 7: The Club Doesn’t Need Your Type Right Now

It’s happened to me before and I talked with the manager. He said, “Look I noticed we have a lot of white girls with blonde hair and big tits. We need some variety and mix it up.” There were some beautiful blonde women and they didn’t get hired! Not because they weren’t beautiful or in shape. But because we had a lot of their type already. 👯‍♀️ That can totally happen, and it can be NOTHING about you. So please please please DON’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY! You may never really know why you didn’t get hired.
