Strip Club Audition | EVERYTHING You Need to Know Before You Audition

So, while getting ready for my audition for this club in Hawaii I was like, “Hold on.” Because I know a lot of babes that are thinking about becoming dancers. Having all of the questions when it comes to auditioning. Like, “what to expect, what to bring, what to know when it comes to your strip club audition.” Some tips and tricks. This is perfect because I’m going to give you all of the answers. 📝👀

So, if you want to be a stripper or you’re already one, and whether you’re looking for a new club to get hired or didn’t get hired from your last audition. READ THIS ENTIRE BLOG!! Because it is going to be super helpful for you. ✅

What to Expect at Your Audition     

Normally, when you get to the club, let them know that you’re there to audition. They will usually bring you inside the dressing room, you will have to get changed into your lingerie, and then they will have you go up on stage for 1 or 2 songs. 👯‍♀️ Depending on the club, if you're at a nude club then you’ll have to get completely naked, if you're at a topless club then you’ll be topless. ❌ You’ll dance to one or two songs on stage, and the manager (or hiring person) will look at you. Kinda feel out your vibe, see if you’re attractive, and if you have an idea of what you’re doing. 

After that, they let you know if you got hired or not! It really is that simple!  🤷‍♀️

Preparation

Scratch that, it seems simple but there is a lot of preparation involved. What to wear, how to know which club to work at. No worries here’s what you need to know:

1. Research the Club:

You should always research the clubs you’re eyeing to work at. You can always go online and check out Reddit. But there is this app I recommend called, The Dancers Resource, this app is created by strippers for strippers. 🌶️💃🏽 It’s amazing because you can look up pretty much any strip club. You can read reviews from other strippers, and get some more information on that particular club. Also, If you see bad reviews on there it's best to steer clear of that club! 

That’s what I do sometimes. But often, I just go to the club and try it out myself! I will always call them on the phone first and say, “Hey, my name is Amber, and I want to audition at your club. Do you have certain days or times that I should go in? And what should I bring” 😊📱 For some clubs you will have to bring your social security and your driver’s license. In places like Las Vegas, you’ll need a business license and a share card. 🎰 So, depending on where you are the rules might be different. Which is why I call, to be the most prepared for my next audition. 

Now, I know what some girls are going to ask! “In Las Vegas, you need a share card, how do I get that??” No worries. Normally you get hired first AND THEN get your share card. But always make sure you have your social security and your ID 😉. 

But something else to think about is trying to figure out what the surrounding area is and the kind of club it is. 📍Which is why I HIGHLY recommend going to the club as a customer. 

2.   Who are Their Customers:

Check out what is happening on the inside, preferably at night on the weekends. You can fully see what the vibe is. 🧐 For example: if you’re at the club and it’s completely dead on a Friday night, then that’s probably not the best place to work. 👎 Because you won’t have that many customers. But, let’s say that you go to a club and it’s busy. But there are a bunch of young guys, the girls aren’t giving dances, and everyone is on their phones looking bored. And there’s no money on the stage! 🫠 That’s another vibe to feel out!

3.   Where is the Club Located:

Are you in a ghetto area, are you in a rich area? Like for me, I used to live in an area that wasn’t that great. And I had to commute to a strip club for an hour in a good area, because That’s WHerE ThE ShmONEy IssS!! 🤑💰💸

BUT, I do strongly recommend that you start your search as a customer first if it’s your first time. Talk to the other strippers to get more insight, the girls are usually nice. You can ask, “Hey, I’m thinking about auditioning here. I’ve never danced before. How do you like it? Do you have any other clubs that you recommend?” Just to help you get the feel of the vibe! 😎✅

Get Outfit Ready

Now, you’ve decided where you want to audition. LADIES, I can’t stress this enough. Don’t you EVER EVER EVER go to your addition with regular heals. 👠🙅‍♀️ PLEASE invest in stripper heals, no normal heals in the strip club. Sadly, you WILL look like an idiot and they WILL NOT hire you. 😅

I’ve seen it happen before, girls come in with the OPPOSITE of some stripper attire. And it just shows that you don’t know what you’re doing. Like, you want to go in there like a BAD FUCKING BITCH, you’re there ready to make money and you’re just BAD ASF. 🔥♥️

Bring Your Stripper Heels to the Audition! I know, they can be scary! But that is what practice is for! Like when I first started out, I bought the shortest stripper heals (I think they were 6 inches) and walked around the house in them. I had a day to just clean the house, walking around, bending down, mopping the fucking floor. Make some time, like a day or two, and just walk around to get the hang of them becuase you will need to survive in them. 🌶️👠

Outfit Tips

Strippers clothes and stripper outfits actually play a BIG PART in landing your audition. 

For your outfits. The clubs, a lot of the time, want you to wear a two-piece. 👙 They specifically ask you to wear a two-piece set because they want to see your body. 🫦👅 Where something flattering that looks good on you, don’t wear a normal bra and panties. Make sure to wear something cute! 

Wear the most flattering, cute, sexy thing you can find! If you have to, go to Victoria’s Secret and different places to try on a bunch of things. Just see what fits you and flatters you. See what accentuates your body the best! 😘

Because really, everyone has a different body, and all bodies are beautiful. 💕 So keep in mind that what might look good on you may not look good on me, and vice versa. For example: for my body type I am skinny, thin, and slim. And I found that garter belts don’t look good on me, because it covers my waist. So it’s not very flattering. 

ALSO, I got tiny titties, but they're perky, cute, and quite nice. So wearing a regular bra covers them up a lot, which is why I’d wear a micro bikini so that it can show off my best assets! 👙

THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. Another thing to think about is that as a stripper, you’ll have to get dressed and undressed like 50 fucking times a day. 🤯 So, I made the mistake of buying a bunch of outfits that were cute. But try being onstage in front of 50 people and trying to undo your bra or trying to take off your corset. Or just having outfits that are hard to take off and on. I have seen girls who have embarrassed themselves because they have a cute outfit, but they can’t get it off when they're onstage. Just keep that in mind when you’re getting your outfits together! 😎✅

Dress to Impress

Do the Most x10, Straight Up. Do not come with your hair in a fucking bun, do not come wearing minimum or no makeup. You Need to Look Spot the Fuck ON! I want you to imagine that you are working that night, and sometimes you will get hired and work on the spot. 

You might be able to work the night you audition if you get hired, so be prepared!  

So, you want to make sure that you’re fucking ready, make sure your makeup is on point, your hair is on point, and your nails and toes are! Those do matter! So make sure those are on point. Eyelashes, wear them. 💋👁️💇‍♀️ If you don’t know how to do them, learn how because that does make a difference! 

I didn’t get hired once because I wasn’t wearing my lashes, my makeup wasn’t done, and I wasn’t dressed to impress.

So PLEASE keep all of this in mind!

Confidence is Key 🔑

When you go to your audition, make sure you're feeling confident and that you’re feeling good! I know that it can be very scary and nerve-wracking, but fake it til you make it! 🥵😏 Try not to show that you’re nervous. Show that you are a calm, comfortable, relaxed, sexy, sensual, BAD BITCH. Take a deep breath, remember that you are a baddie and that you got this! 💁‍♀️🔥

Make sure you’re not just feeling confident, but you’re looking people in the eye and you're smiling a lot. Like, your audition is to see if you fit into the club, and if you fit into the energy there. Questions they will think to themselves will be, “Are you gonna be drama, are you going to be nice to the other girls, are you going to be nice to the customers?” ❓🧐

I’ve seen girls go to auditions with the BIGGEST attitudes for no reason! 🫠🙃 Do you wanna hire someone like that? NO. Because there are already like 50 women that can sometimes be catty. They Don’t Want to Hire More Drama. So, make sure you're on your best behavior, you’re super nice, and just be nice to everyone at the club (the manager, the doorman, the customers, other girls, etc.)! Crack some jokes, introduce yourself, and start a conversation. 😇

These are my tips on how to land those auditions! But like I already mentioned, they will sometimes hire you on the spot and ask you to start dancing there and now!
